APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 1, 2026
Eligibility Requirements for First-Time Applicants:

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States.

Applicant must be a resident within Marshall County, IL and exhibit community service and leadership.

Applicant will pursue a degree at an accredited public or nonprofit college or university and carry a minimum
of 12 hours each semester. -
Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA or rank in the top third of their class; Minimum ACT/SAT scores should be in the "above average" standing within their grade/demographic and have prepared a 5-year education and career plan.

Applicant must demonstrate financial need. Applicant must submit FAFSA. Provide a copy of your 2026-27 FAFSA Submission Summary, as shown in the sample documents below. This is a copy of the application submitted to Federal Student Aid.

Two letters of recommendation, current official transcript, and letter of acceptance are required.

Personal statement about the applicant's life, values, goals, career, extracurriculars, community service, etc.
In 500 words or less, describe your experiences making a difference in your community and your reason for pursuing additional education. -
The official financial award letter from the university, which includes the following costs: tuition, housing/meals, scholarships, grants, loan options and work options.
**Scholarship only covers tuition and book expenses.
**Scholarship does not apply to students enrolled at online universities.
