Application Process:
Guide to Success

The Trumbull Trust application process is designed to be simple and straightforward. We want every student to feel confident and prepared from start to finish. This page walks you through each step of the application process so you know exactly what to expect and what's required to receive scholarship funds. Take your time, follow the steps below, and know that we are excited to support you on your educational journey.

Step By Step Guide:

Step 1: Review Requirements and Prepare Documentation

If you are a first-time applicant, navigate to the "First-Time Applicants Form" and review the requirements to apply.

  • Review provided "Samples of Proper Document Uploads" to ensure you understand requirements.

  • Prepare correct documentation per instructions listed on the form.

  • NOTE: This form is ONLY completed before your first year of college.

If you are a returning applicant and would like to renew your scholarship, navigate to the "Returning Applicants Form" and review the requirements to apply.

  • Review provided "Samples of Proper Document Uploads" to ensure you understand requirements.

  • Prepare correct documentation per instructions listed on the form.

  • NOTE: This form is completed before EVERY school year following your first year of college.

Step 2: Apply for the Scholarship

  • Ensure you understand the scholarship requirements, important information, and application deadline.

  • Apply to the scholarship you have prepared documentation for. 

  • Complete required fields.

  • Upload all required documentation in pdf format.

  • Submit form.

Step 3: Get Accepted and Complete "Scholarship Acceptance Form"

  • Once you get accepted and meet all requirements, you will receive an acceptance email with a "Scholarship Acceptance Form". 

  • You MUST complete, sign, AND return the "Scholarship Acceptance Form" to Trumbull Trust to complete the application process and receive scholarship funds for your first semester.

  • NOTE: You will NOT receive scholarship funds until this form has been signed and returned to us.

  • NOTE: This only covers your first semester of the current school year. You MUST complete the next steps and maintain requirements to receive scholarship for your second semester and following years.

Step 4: Upload Grades to Check-In for your Second Semester

  • Navigate to the "Upload Grades Form".

  • Complete required fields and upload your most recent Official Transcript in pdf form.

  • Submit form.

  • NOTE: This form is due EVERY year by February 1st to ensure you are maintaining the requirements to receive scholarship funds.

  • NOTE: You will NOT receive scholarship funds for your second semester until this form is completed.

Step 5: Repeat the Application Process

  • To receive scholarship for the following school year, start the application process again at step one and complete the "Returning Applicants Form".

  • Continue with steps 2-5 of the application process and repeat every school year to renew your scholarship as long as requirements are maintained.
